Some comeback performances are so moving, they leave you longing for the days of yore and simultaneously marveling at how good the stars still are.
Anyone who saw Whitney Houston on Good Morning America and its summer concert series this week knows that was not one of those comebacks. No.
Voice cracking constantly and leaning on the audience to hit the high notes, Whitney reminded us that some singing careers are better left to history.

Comments like this about women (Whitney Houston) are what keep our society sick, here is a women Witney who has the guts to get back out there and try to pick up what she loves to do and idiots like you (whom perhaps have never had to struggle through great pain)pick her to pieces, vocally she is not the same (yet) but I thought her tribute to her mother and daughter were fantastic and are what the world needs more of...authentic, real people who don't hide behide plastic pink template like this website!! Good for you Whitney I found it inspiring.

Its so annoying- we live in a society where ppl r always talking about how when you're in trouble, you should get back on your feet. Well, thats exactly what whitney is doing, isnt it?! But nooooo, we can only critisize.
All u haters just need to remember without whitney there would be no beyonce, mary j, brandy, pink, mariah carey and many others.
I know some of u r gonna hate on me for saying this, but its true- this whole scenario is just like mj! He battled with his demons and came on top amd many hated him 4 it. whitney is doing the same. whitney is a real person, not fake, not plastic(unlike many celebs of today), plain real- authentic as SAZ said.
I think she knows her voice aint gonna be the same as a it used 2 be,but us fans need to stick by her in her time of need!!!

After reading more hurtful comments about whitney, i know that some ppl r goin 2 hell 4 sure. The important thing 2 remember is that her fans will always outnumber her haters!!!!
I feel 4 whitney so much. She didn't even have 2 do a comeback after all the trauma shes been tru, but she did and then 2 be critisized 4 her every move is just ridiculous. I don't want ppl to hate her just cos of 1 performance. Please stop.
