We always knew Adam Lambert was a transformative artist.
But this isn't what we had in mind!
For years, enthusiastic female fans have thrown their undergarments at their favorite singer on stage. This (unusual) tradition is as timeless as groupie sex in the back of a bus.
But Lambert's followers have taken the routine up a few notches on this summer's American Idol tour, as Adam told E! News earlier today.
"It's going further; somebody threw onstage a red-leather tasseled whip," he said. "The next night, I got one that was made out of, like, purple fur. It's getting really S&M.... I got some glow-in-the-dark handcuffs. It's really getting creative. It's exciting. I think they really want me to play with these toys during the number."
And he actually does!
"I always try to because I enjoy that," Lambert said, adding these teasing words: "I'm not really into S&M, but it's definitely tempting."
Adam has no one to blame but himself for this lewd outpouring of support. Remember, he did say he'd consider sleeping with women. Can you really blame them for trying?

Adam is so sexy, I guess it just brings out the wild side in all of us. He is so fun and flirty with it all, and yet does not take himself too seriously. He is so calm and cool even as this enormous fan base grows. Just keep this man safe, and folks don't throw anything that could hurt Adam. He is a brilliant artist and we don't want him hurt. Can't wait for his solo tour!!!

Adam Lambert is so adorable prancing around the stage with the whip,etc. We have to get a campaign going for Adam to host Saturday Night Live!
He would be so fabulous, funny and he can be the musical guest as well!

What a great story and beautiful picture of Adam. I can't wait to see him at Auburn Hills in Michigan! Ladies lets just slide our fun toys, not throw. Maybe we can just put then on the edge so he doesn't trip. Adam's safety is the most important thing. I just love how much fun he is! This country needed a man like Adam to help us forget all of the stress so many of us are under right now. I plan on going to all of his concerts in Michigan. My daughter, sisters, and nieces all want to go too. We are all very excited about going together to see this gorgeous, talented man perform.
