The combination of these events has led certain celebrity gossip tabloids to speculate on the future of the former couple. Might Nick and Jessica get back together?

"I think it’s fun storytelling, but there's very little truth to any of it," Lachey told People over the weekend. "I certainly have heard about her breakup and I wish her the best, as I’ve always done. Aside from that, there really is nothing to say."
So, has Nick reached out to his ex-wife, following her split with the Cowboys quarterback?
"I haven't talked to her in probably two years," Lachey said. "I wish her happiness. That’s where it pretty much ends."

nick you should talk to her. you guys were so young she was so young. she loves you and you know she does. no one is perfect. give her a chance by at least talking with her. it'll benefit both of you guys. dont let fame or ego get between reconciliation. forgive and be there for her. i dont know her or personally but for some reason my heart ache knowing that true love was lost nd now dont want to be found. GIVE HER CHANCE! be understandable
