If there's a pause between paragraphs in this story about Paris Hilton and her feelings for boyfriend Benji Madden, it's only because we had to vomit a few dozen times from the thought of these two together.

We're sure celebrity gossip readers understand, as Hilton rattled on to People Magazine this week about a song Madden wrote in her honor. Gag us with a spoon, please.

"He actually wrote me a beautiful song, and actually recorded it in the studio," Hilton said. "He surprised me with it. It's called, 'Shine Your Light.' It's this really beautiful love song about me. It was the sweetest thing that anyone has ever done for me."

Sweeter than filming you having sex?!?  Rick Salomon is hurt by that statement.

Meanwhile, Paris couldn't stop gushing about the Good Charlotte guitarist:

"He's my best friend. He's just different from any guy that I've ever been with. I just trust him completely, and I know that he'd be there for me, no matter what."

Does this mean Hilton and Madden might beat Nicole Richie and Joel Madden to the altar?

"I don't know," Hilton said. "My life's a lot different now, I'm very much at peace, and I'm so happy, and in control, and so very excited about life."
