They’ve only been together for a few months, but Jeremy Vuolo and Jinger Duggar are already reaching new milestones in their courtship.
No, not down and dirty full-frontal hug action … yet.
In People’s sneak peek at Tuesday’s episode of Counting On (below), Jinger heads to Vuolo’s hometown of Laredo, Texas for the first time.
Her parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar were on hand to chaperone, of course, and to meet Jeremy’s parents. No pressure at all!!
(As for rumors of Jim Bob making insane demands of Jeremy, none of that appears in the clip posted here, but we wouldn’t be surprised.)
First up, though, was the obligatory airport greeting.
"There she is!" says Vuolo, 29. "Oh, wow."
Yeah. The cheese factor is off the charts.
"Hello my love, how are you? It’s good to see you," he says as he shares an epic side hug with his 22-year-old girlfriend. "You’re finally here!"
Jinger can hardly contain her excitement.
"When I walked through security and went down the escalator, I saw Jeremy and my heart was filled with joy," she says.
"I missed you so much," Vuolo says.
"Happy two months!" Jeremy adds.
"Babe! I love you," says Jinger.
"I love you, too," he responds.
Speaking to the TLC cameras, Jeremy proceeded to tell viewers what those who watch Counting On online already know to be true:
He is as smitten as they come.
"Everything that I’ve desired in a wife, I see in Jinger," he says. "Everything that I’ve imagined, she is that and much more."
As for Jinger, she was nervous, but in a good way, to meet the family of the man she has every intention of marrying ASAP:
"I think anytime you have first impressions you’re always kind of a little concerned, maybe on edge – it’s like, I don’t want to say anything wrong!"
"I want it all to come out right."
"I am super excited to be here with Jeremy. This moment we have waited for for so long," says Jinger, while her courtship partner adds:
"I’m excited to drive you around and show you!"
"I’m just excited for Jinger to see Laredo and see where I’ve been, to see some of my favorite spots and see my apartment."
"More than anything," though, it’s all about quality time together. "It doesn’t matter where we are, I just want to be with her."
"So thoughtful, babe," says Jinger. "I love you."
"I love you!" he responds, beaming ear to ear.
As for whether the love-struck Jeremy and Jinger break courtship rules tonight or in future episodes, all we can do is stay tuned.
