Just to be clear: we’re all about young children learning the proper anatomy terms.
They should be familiar and comfortable with their own bodies, no doubt.
But we can have this point of view and still agree with Twitter user @ATBOBB, who simply had to share photos online of a toy horse that was included among a set of farm animals his two-year old daughter received for Christmas.
Scroll through the following pictures (and subsequent Internet reaction) to learn why…
It’s Just a Horse, Right?
Not much to see here, right? It’s your basic toy horse from this angle.
But Turn It Over And…
… whoa there! There’s no way around it. There’s nowhere else to look. That is a cock and some balls, hanging impressively off that horse.
WTH?
Bob had to take this discovery to Twitter. He also noted to The Huffington Post: “The gorilla, lion, zebra, giraffe, pig and sheep do not have dicks. Only the horse.”
The Internet Weighs In
The photos quickly went viral, receiving 15,000 likes and 10,000 retweets within hours.
More Reaction
The first Tweet here makes a good point. We sort of feel bad for this horse.
And More Reaction!
From musician Neko Case, no less!
Equality!
Equally disturbing in this case, but still. At least the toy horse industry does not discriminate.
And Now a Toy Giraffe Penis!
Chris McGonigal, a photo editor at The Huffington Post, went ahead and shared this photo after he went through his son’s toy collection.
And Now a Toy Lion Penis!
Also courtesy of McGonigal, incredibly.

And, again, cracks us up in the process.
And So a New Trend is Born
Lots of users have started to share their toy genitalia on social media.
And So We Wait for This New Trend to Die
A quick and painful death, we sincerely hope. Any time now…
