Bravo really is introducing two new additions to The Real Housewives franchise in 2016: The Real Housewives of Dallas and… The Real Housewives of Potomac?!?
The latter series will debut in January and feature “wealthy African-American families who have broken racial barriers and now reside in the sophisticated community,” according to the official network synopsis.

Say hello to the The Real Housewives of Potomac. These six ladies will be coming into your living room in January of 2016 on Bravo.
Gizelle Bryant is the former wife of Jamal Harrison Bryant, the pastor of the Empowerment Temple AME Church in Baltimore. She is working on a makeup line and she’s the mother to three daughters, Grace, and twins Angel and Adore.
Katie Rost, a “mommy, model, philanthropist, foodie,” according to her Instagram page, once dated Russell Simmons. She also once hosted the BET talk show Teen Summit. Rost is married and has three children with her college sweetheart and ex-husband, James Orsini.
Karen Huger has been dubbed the “grand dame of Potomac.” She throws many fancy parties and she’s married to Raymond, the president and CEO of a highly successful information technology company. She has two older kids.
Charrisse Jackson-Jordan has been married for 17 years to NBA player-turned-coach Eddie Jordan, although they mostly live apart. The couple has two children, teenagers Jackson and Skylar.
Robyn Dixon still lives with her ex-husband, Juan Dixon split. They have two sons and she works as a publicist and event manager.
Ashley Darby is a former Miss District of Columbia. She is married to Michael Darby, an Australian real-estate millionaire who is 29 her senior. She’s the stepmother to his two kids and wants to have a baby of her own.
