Simply put, the Internet is shook.
Users don't know what to think.
Up is down, cold is hot, Donald Trump is a well-spoken purveyor of truth that only has the best interests of his country in mind.
We are living in strange times, and truly, nothing is what it once seemed in light of the following news that rocked us today:
Stacy London has blocked Clinton Kelly on Twitter.
The long-time What Not to Wear co-hosts seemed like best buds, like two peas in a pod, like the very best of friends.
And now ... this?!? Could it possibly be true? Please join us below as we try to make sense of this nightmare.
A Brief History Lesson:
What Not to Wear which aired on TLC from 2003 to 2013. London and Kelly took turns critiquing fashion trends on the popular series.
Like a Brother and Sister
"We we completed each other’s sentences," Kelly told My Statesman just this past January, acknowledging that they needed the occasional "break" from each other, but making the relationship sounds very sibling-like.
Even If They Weren't Best Friends...
... there was no reason to think they were bitter enemies.
Kelly shared this Tweet on November 15, writing as a seemingly confused caption "Alllll righty then."
What? Huh? Why?
Twitter has so many questions right now.
No One Is Okay Right Now
This development has thrown the Internet for a major loop.
Pearls are Clutched Around the Web
And tears are falling as we type.
... but what about the last two seasons of Breaking Bad?
Sides are Being Taken
Some folks are wondering why Kelly chose to publicize this blocking.
It's Getting Ugly
And Kelly is taking on his critics.
This Was the Tweet in Which They Were Both Tagged
Notice London does not acknowledge Kelly in it.
London Visited Kelly on the Set The Chew in 2012
And they looked totally happy together! Yes, that was five years ago. But still.
What Changed Since Then?
In his 2017 book, I Hate Everyone, Except You, the Kelly wrote the following of his ex-colleague: "I either adored her or despised her and never anything in between. We spent nearly sixty hours a week in captivity, rarely more than an arm’s length away from each other. Trust me when I tell you that is just too much time to spend with any other human being you didn’t choose of your own free will."
Does Kelly Know the Source of the Tension?
It sounds that way. "The tea is old. And I never spill tea unless I’m shook, which I’m not," he added on Twitter.
Will They Work It Out?
We don't know and we don't really care. But we're apparently in the minority with that latter opinion.
