As you may have heard, there was a little incident that took place in the Teen Mom universe this weekend.
A pretty huge incident, actually.
We’re talking, of course, about how Kailyn Lowry and Briana DeJesus decided to pull a Farrah Abraham and Amber Portwood at the taping of the Teen Mom 2 reunion on Saturday.
And by “pulling a Farrah Abraham and Amber Portwood,” we mean their feud got physical.
So far, we’ve heard reports from sources about what went down, and Kailyn’s offered a few words of explanation.
But now Briana is telling us exclusively the full, detailed story about what happened.
And it is INTENSE.
A Feud for the Ages
Right, so Briana and Kailyn haven’t gotten along for several months now. They’ve never really been friends — remember, Briana just recently joined the Teen Mom 2 cast — but things got way, way worse when Briana and Javi started getting involved romantically.
Dang It, Disney
As we saw on the season premiere, their issues began when Kailyn learned that what she thought was a boys’ trip to Disney World with Javi and her sons was actually a vacation with Briana and her family.
Girl Code
Kailyn thought it was shady of Javi not to tell her that Briana would be there (and it definitely was), but for some reason she seemed to take more of an issue with Briana. She thought she should have told her herself about the trip and about her relationship with Javi, since they’re co-workers.
Not So Much
Briana disagreed, explaining that there was never a “girl code” between them because they’re not friends, and besides, it wasn’t her place to tell her about the Disney trip, it was Javi’s.
Getting Nasty
All that happened in August, and the last Teen Mom 2 reunion happened in October, and as we’ve been seeing on the show, tensions were high. Kailyn and Briana ended up arguing over Javi — Briana told her that she was just upset because he’s moved on, but Kailyn denied it.
Super, Super Messy
We still haven’t seen all of that fight, but we do know that Javi finally gets involved. We did see Kailyn arguing with Briana’s sister and mother, and then we saw her sit down with Chelsea and Leah and apparently ask for Briana and Jenelle to be kicked off the show, so we know that they didn’t exactly make up.
Come On, Ladies
It’s fun because we haven’t seen everything play out on the show, but thanks to Twitter, we saw a lot of it play out in real life: when Briana and Javi officially started dating, there were still unsurprisingly issues between the two Teen Moms.
… Why Though?
Kailyn mocked Javi for taking Briana on the same kinds of dates he took her on, and she insinuated that Briana didn’t have the purest intentions for dating him. Briana told Kailyn to suck her dick numerous times. Javi took Briana’s side, which infuriated Kailyn even more.
So Weird
Javi and Briana only dated for a few months, and it ended because he wanted to get married and also because he didn’t want her to get plastic surgery, and after they broke up, he was back to sucking up to Kailyn, which Briana didn’t appreciate.
Heating Back Up
Things were quiet for awhile after the Javiana breakup back in January, but it looks like these new episodes of Teen Mom 2 have been stirring up all those bad feelings again … so really, it was just a terrible idea to film the reunion in the middle of all this.
Unfortunately …
They did it anyway.
FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT
As we learned from a report on Saturday, things got physical during the reunion show taping. During one segment, the moms were called out onstage one by one, and when Briana came out, she “went right at Kail.”
Oh Hey, Brittany
Not only that, but “Briana’s sister Brittany DeJesus was on set too and she jumped in and got in Kail’s face. They started swinging at each other and Kail was motioning to Bri to ‘Bring it on!'”
Wait, What?
But according to Kailyn herself, things weren’t that dramatic. She revealed that “Briana didn’t do anything,” and that “Brittany ran up behind me and pulled my hair. That was it.”
“GET UP”
She did say that she tried to speak with Briana privately before all of that, that she “confronted her alone and she would not get up. I just wanted to hash it out. But she did not want to. We went into a private room without cameras and I told her to get up.”
Yikes
So it definitely sounds like Kailyn wanted to settle things physically, but Briana wanted no part of it, which is fair.
Story Time!
Still, it’s not a complete telling of all that happened, and we all know that we truly need all of the details. And that’s why we’re so thankful for Briana, who was enough of a sweetheart to exclusively dish about how everything went down.
Squashing the Beef
“I got to the studio,” Briana tells us. “I get a text and it’s Kail saying she wants to talk. So Production told me that she wants to squash the beef since we are on the same show. So I said ok. Kail didn’t want our ‘convo’ filmed so Production stood in the hallway.” Sounds fair enough, right?
“Hit Me One Time”
“When Kail walks in,” she continues, “she looked like she wanted to fight so I’m like omg here we go. So there’s 3 guards inside with us just in case so Kail starts yelling saying let me just hit her one time. She knew she wouldn’t be able to touch me because all the guards were holding her back, so whatever. That ended and I was like wait til I see you again.”
Violence is Not the Answer
How many times have we seen that move on reality shows (including Cops) before, that “hit me first so I can somehow be justified for mauling you” move? Classic.
A Set-Up?
Briana says that producers asked her if she wanted to film a segment and she agreed, but when she walked onstage “the only person I saw was Kail sitting down so I just ran up. Guards got to me. I slipped and fell trying to get over the table to get to Kail and then my sister got into it.”
More Brittany!
“I do know that my sister tried to stop me at first when l ran out on the stage, but then Kail started to talk shit to Brittany, so Brittany got upset. I don’t want anyone to think we tired to jump her, cause we didn’t,” she explains.
Aaaaaaand Tackled
Briana couldn’t tell us much more about what went down next though, because as she says, “IDK what else happened/what my sister did, cause I didn’t get to see cause I gotta tackled by security.”
Quitting?!
However, a source informs us that “After this all went down, Briana walked off stage and refused to film anything else. She got the next flight home that weekend and told Production she quit the show. She didn’t show up Sunday to film the reunion and has been back home in Florida since Sunday.”
MTV, Did You Do This?
“Briana feels like the initial conversation with Kail was set up by production since Production told Briana Kail wanted to squash the beef but Briana feels like they knew Kail wanted to fight,” the source adds.
What Next?!
So is Briana really quitting the show? Did MTV orchestrate the fight? Is this feud finally over, or is it just starting? How is all of this happening over Javi?! We need so many more answers, but at least now we know how intense this story really is!
