Where Lawyers Fail, Tears Succeed
Mutts & Moms Were Warned

Before Ellen freaked the fuck out yesterday about her repossessed puppy Iggy, her lawyers contacted Mutts & Moms to warn them:

We are filing a legal case against you. We are going to be contacting the media. This is not going to be good for your store or your organization. You did not do the right thing. You need to call back. There is no reason for you to take this dog. Please call back before this gets further out of hand.

And by further out of hand, Bush meant that America???s most beloved lesbian would be in tears over a dog.

Keith Fink, a lawyer for Mutts & Moms, told Page Six he thinks that Ellen is using her power to manipulate the situation.

“Ellen’s lying,” said Fink. “She is using her power and her access to the media to destroy this agency in the media. This is a woman who has signed many seven-figure contracts. She knows what she signed.”

Really, ya think?

Ok, Mutts & Moms. It???s really sweet how you got this in the Post. Congratulations. But let???s be real. Ellen has a daily, nationally syndicated TV show. Just give the puppy back so we don???t have to see Ellen cry anymore.

Ellen is a pet lover, and probably did feel some of the satisfaction that he rescue people feel when they place a pet in a new home. However, it doesn’t matter how BIG of a lawyer you have, if you violate a contract you choose to sign. The dog will be fine, and will find a home with some one, most likely the family involved. Ellen learned a little bit about her own responsibility for this situation. If the family is hurt, that’s unfortunate. It could have been avoided by Ellen going back to the rescue in accordance to her agreement, and referring the new family as a friend. It is too bad that she didn’t spend more time letting the pets in her home adjust to the new guy. Eventually it would have worked out.

Ellen is a bloated clebrity tick who thinks that rules, including the terms of her signed contract, are for “the little people”.
Ellen’s torrent of sobs is designed to goose interest in her lame TV show and intimidate the shelter people. She is an actress, after all.
No wonder Ellen was so smitten with Anne Heche. Two psychotic peas in a lunatic pod.

This is so sad. Sure, Ellen messed up by not abiding by the paperwork. But isn’t the point of animal rescue operations to find a pet a loving home…which is what she did? How does Iggy benefit by being tossed from place to place?

Mutts and Moms is giving animal shelters a bad name by taking such a hardcore position. Why not solve it by having Ellen make a donation to the shelter of her choice?

I wish all involved would try to find a positive solution here, instead of wasting time, energy and money on litigation. Think of all the animals that could be saved instead!

Oh Elle,

It must be lonely in your basement apartment, sitting at your computer while attacking celebs who have done nothing to you and you sad little life. Maybe it’s time to dust of the cheerios stuck to your unwashed T and do something a little more productive with your life.

To disagree with Ellen is one thing. We all have an opinion. To call someone who has done you no harm a tick, is just sad.

Maybe you could use your time to make a difference in the world, instead of spreading the emotional equivelent of lime disease.

Cheers and hugs.

This is absolutely terrible. Mutts and Moms should close their doors forever and I personally hope no one ever goes there again. They are only after the money, money. As said in one of the earlier emails, this is making the Michael Vic story look better. What a miserable situation. No Ellen is not using her power. She gave the stupid people $600.00 and had the dog altered and that is something the rescue place should have done. I am thoroughly disgusted with Mutts and Moms and hope they close their doors.

What the F…! You call this news? She gave the dog a home whether it be hers or another who the heck cares! Contract or not it’s a animal shelter not a child adoption. Ellen should have taken out her check book and made it happen. What is wrong with this picture? Ellen, use your media power and stop crying and get the dog back for the 2 little girls, do something already! What would Oprah have done? P.S. Mutts and moms is done in this world, thanks for stopping by.

Come on Ellen! What are you thinking? Don’t let us down, do what the other stars do. Pay your way to happiness. Don’t let a puppy pave your way to tears. Shoulders back and tell the Mutts and Moms the way it’s going to be. Please don’t cry on TV, it disappoints me. Act like the women that you are. Do SOMETHING!

Moms and Mutts didn’t follow their own rules. There was never a home inspection before letting Ellen adopt the dog. So who do they think they are?
