(Update: The image you previously saw here of the April Vogue cover has been removed, at the request of Conde Nast’s attorneys. They aren’t thrilled with the idea of their upcoming covers being leaked. Well, at least the cover we “may or may not be correct” – their words, not ours – in labeling the actual April issue.)
On Monday you learned Jennifer Aniston – or was it Jennifer Connely, hot off her critical recognition for .. Dark Water? – would be taking her Vanity Fair newsstand sales winning streak the extremely short distance to corporate cousin Vogue for the April “Shape Issue” cover (exclusively seen, ahem, right here actually).
But while VF has found itself on the defense against Aniston and Lindsay Lohan’s claims of misreprentation (Aniston for crying during the interview, Lohan for buhlimia), Vogue isn’t about to make that mistake. Nah, like a good “placate the interviewee” book, Anna Wintour & Co. opted for the headline Nick Lachey could only wish for: “Don’t feel sorry for me.”
And to be honest, Aniston just may have actually said those words during the interview. At least in the context of “I wish Star would stop running headlines of me that say ‘Don’t feel sorry for me.’”
