Dear old David Clarke thinks Nolan Ross is a lying thief who robbed Amanda of hundreds of millions of dollars and thanks to a live television interview conducted by LeMarchal media, so does the ENTIRE WORLD.
Ouch! Revenge Season 4 Episode 6 saw David telling his truth to the world while skewering Nolan. Emily didn’t seem to care that her best friend has been hurt because of her revenge. Again.
It’s hard to like Emily when she seems to have no remorse for her actions when her friends get hurt because they’re protecting her identity. Such was the case last night when David punched Nolan in the face after metaphorically sucker punching him on live television.
Emily was all “Oh, my bad…let’s go find out more about my dad!” Uh, slow down there, girl. At least get the dude an ice pack for his nose! Or some Advil or something.
But Emily, ever the one-track minded girl she is, just pressed on, eager to reveal to Nolan the information she found in the silo.
Basically, the scene was staged. For what purpose, she’s not yet sure, but she knows that’s not where her father has been spending the last 10 years of his life. (And let’s get real here. If Conrad Grayson had David Clarke detained, it wouldn’t be in a dank silo like that.)
Jack is also learning that David wasn’t in the silo, but not because he’s been talking to Emily.
Ben cannot let Conrad Grayson’s death go, no matter how much they all agree the man deserved to die. As he continues to investigate, he and Jack come upon a garage where Jack spies a double infinity carved into the wall. Knowing what the symbol is, Jack immediately agrees to help Ben with the investigation so that he can steer it in a manner that leads away from Emily.
Or maybe he should just steer the ship right toward her to get this whole thing over with.
Might that be what Charlotte has inadvertently done? It’s possible.
After killing a man trying to use her as bait for David Clarke, Charlotte called Emily for help in cleaning up the mess. She believes Emily has killed before and is the perfect person to cover up a crime like this. Emily makes sure to tell Charlotte that she’s never murdered anyone but that Victoria Grayson has, and Charlotte, in that moment, decides to get her life together.
She later decides to check herself into rehab, but not before she reads a letter from Emily. What the letter says is anyone’s guess, but we’ll likely find out sooner rather than later.
Guess we’ll have to watch Revenge online to see!
