New Evidence Arises To Cast Further Doubt On The Hills’ Reality Quotient

The guy who LC dated on this week’s episode of The Hills (in a transparent attempt to make Brody jealous!) speaks up and continues to throw our world in disarray by shattering what little conviction remained that the crappy—but inexplicably addictive—MTV melodrama is totally real and not even a little bit scripted.

Says actor Gavin Beasley of his “reality” cameo:

They [the producers] totally set up the BBQ scene for Brody and I to meet each other and talk because, as they said, ???the audience would get a kick out of seeing ???the ex??? talking to ???the new guy???.??? So they rent this house in Malibu for a set, bought a bunch of food and drinks, and just filmed us hanging out. Brody would talk all this sh*t, than be like, ???Sorry about that, we???re just trying to make good television.”

Instead, however, they apparently went ahead and made another episode of The Hills.
