After being fired from her freelancer position as a Washington Post theater critic, Tricia Olszewski gets some tips from fellow City Paper contributers Mike DeBois and Jason Cherkis.

Apparently, Tricia posted ???some tossed-off comments on her personal Web site.??? But, had she read Jossip yesterday, or Bonnie Fuller???s book, she would have been sending her gossip here, instead of getting her ass fired by WaPo.

Rule No. 1: Don???t Suggest That Your Beat Is Lame
Rule No. 2: Save Your Opinions for Your Review
Rule No. 3: Don???t Make Mistakes
Rule No. 4: Don???t Place a Post Superstar in a Negative Light
Rule No. 5: Don???t Tell Your Paper to ???Eat???a ???Bag of Cocks?????????

Wow, that last tip is really, really, super helpful — not to mention, pretty disturbing. So, we will definitely be back with the rest Bonnie’s much too much exciting tips on how not to lose your magazine job. Just to round things out.
