The 53-year-old actor exchanged vows over the weekend with his beautiful British fiancee, an attorney to whom he has been engaged since April.
The couple arrived in Italy last week for the soiree, celebrating the occasion separately on Friday night, then reuniting for the epic event Saturday.
George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin married at the Aman Canal Grande luxury resort in Venice, with celebrity guests galore on hand to witness it.
The duo has been dating since October, and things progressed quickly – by anyone’s standards, but especially the world’s most famous bachelor’s.
The list of George Clooney girlfriends over the years is not short, or un-famous. The silver screen icon had sworn off marriage on multiple occasions.
He had previously been married, of course, to actress Talia Balsam in the early 1990s, but he has rarely spoken publicly about that short lived union.
