Fetal Face Off: Jennifer Lopez Vs. Christina Aguilera
Who Did A Better Job Of Promoting/Denying Their Pregnancy?

We???ve said it before, and we???ll say it again: Triple threats don???t let themselves go.

Jennifer Lopez admitted last night that she was in a family way. (Note that the Us Weekly cover from last month was in third person.)

And MTV heralded it as the ???second-worst-kept baby bump in music.??? There was an elegant simplicity to Christina Aguilera???s empty promises that her expanding stomach contained only Doritos, but for our money J. Lo did a better job at promoting her uterus.

Consider the timeline:

September 12: Lopez starts “looking heavy, wearing gowns with ???flow.???

September 19: Marc Anthony claims his wife is fat, not knocked up.

September 20: KFC reaches out Lopez, knowing pregnant women love nothing more than carcinogenic foodstuffs.

October 1: Lopez wears more fat people clothes, furthering speculation.

October 5: Lopez announces that she will announce her pregnancy at a concert at MSG

October 6: Lopez does not admit she pregnant at the MSG concert, hints at it.

October 10: US Weekly, the gossip rag whose fact checking team rivals the New Yorker???s, runs the J. Lo pregnancy story.

November 7: Lopez admits she pregnant.

Christina did nothing but get fat and deny. That???s no strategy for selling albums.
