The Incredible Hulk, which premieres this weekend just a few years after its most recent remake, which went down the box office crapper, is expected to perform quite nicely once all the box office receipts are counted. But don’t expect any help from its star, Ed Norton — he’s off on a remote island being attended to. And he won’t be coming back. At least not until Universal ups his fee.

Barack Obama might not even be the chosen Democratic candidate, and he’s quite busy right now with Geraldine Ferraro’s remarks about how he’s “very lucky to be” a black man, but already Ed Norton and his production outfit Class 5 Films are shopping around a documentary about the senator. The lovable Obama supporter Ari Emanuel, at Endeavor, is in on the deal, and they’d like to make things happen by 2009, thank you. They began shooting footage in 2006, before he announced his presidential run, so expect the film to question his credentials even less than the media have been AS IF THAT’S POSSIBLE.
