Is In Touch magazine “unethical and paying off poor folks for bad Brangelina stories?” wonders a tipster. Perhaps!
And while that question-slash-accusation could, conceivably, be applied to any number of stories In Touch (or Us Weekly! Or Star!) has published over the past two or three years, it appears to be directed at this week’s cover story, which claims that Angie and Brad are on the verge of losing custody of baby Zahara.
Not so! disagrees Reuters (a.k.a. a legitimate news source) who counters by pointing out that the adoption agency has confirmed the legality of Jolie’s adoption and rejected “reports that the child???s relatives want her back.”
Which brings us back to the original question: is the celeb weekly (a) unethical and (b) paying off poor folks for “bad Brangelina stories?”
It’s hard to say for sure, although the phrase “shoddy fact-checking” certainly comes to mind. On the one hand, we can’t imagine any magazine run out of Englewood Cliffs has too much extra cash to throw around. Then again, as the old saying goes, “beggars can’t be choosers.”
And we can’t think of anyone less choosy than a poverty-stricken Ethiopian woman who saw an opportunity to make a quick buck—and took it.

Nah…..to some segment of society (those that still believes there are aliens – The National Enquirer are their bible of gossip and truth)….the German publishing subsidiary only produces “factual and well research” articles….they are so OuttaTouch…..LOL!
For how can you get your revenge from Star for stealing your people but steal their stories which Star copied from Sun…its like the Bible there are several versions…LOL! Only that its all in the Jolie-Pitt’s expense and for a bottom feeder tabbie whose trying to look good to HQ by upping sales…..paying off people is a machiavelian fete……I’m sure the German bosses approves…..its the bottom line that matters…heh!

I think OutofTouch sunk to a new low with this story. I stopped buying bottom feeding rags like Out of Touch and Lies&No Style and even Lies Weekly when they started their weekly lying of the Jolie Pitts. I will definitely watch with glee when they go bankrupt or out of business.

Forbes did a survey which found that Brad and Angelina didn’t move tabloids. I had to laugh because if the tabloids keep printing this sort of sh*t about Brad, Angelina and other celebrities, why would their fans want to buy them? Brad and Angelina Fans have been calling for a boycott of tabloids for months and we are happy it looks like the boycott is working.
I personally, haven’t bought a tab in more than 24 months. I found their stories about Brad and Angelina almost always UNTRUE, which leads me to wonder what other stories about other celebrities I’m interested in or like are UNTRUE. Which of course, leads to the view that, seriously why pay MONEY FOR TRASH? Yes trash because that money ends up effectively in the trash. if I want to read this sh*t I can read about them in the internet for free.
Lastly, there is a presumption amongst the tab editors that people want to read the bad news. I assume that the tabloid editors know their market but I think there should be some distinctions made. Sure, we want to read about how owen wilson attempted suicide and how britney is going crazy. But for me personally, I want to read these stories written sympathetically without the mean spirited snark.
So, here’s hoping the tablies go bankrupt and the snarky celebrity websites which regurgitate the same TRASH go the same way.

It is soo sad though that they are trying to make a buck by exploiting the story of a poor family and an innocent child who has been lucky to be given a second chance at life.
And in a few years’ time Zahara and all the other Jolie-Pitt children will be able to read some of these stories – this could shatter anybody’s life.
I wonder how these editors can sleep at night…

pilosopong tasyo is trying terribly hard to appear wise and in touch. LOL as he/she would say.
Bottom line is that, as an independent arbiter, In Touch had by far the best cover this week. Us weekly’s sucked, People’s pooed, Star was a design disaster and OK! was simply embarrassing as usual. Does Life & Style still exist?

To Kate number 4.
Unfortunately for Zahara, she’ll also be able to read all about her mother’s drug use, sexual partners and that she called her sister ”a blob”. Mommie Dearest?
