If there’s one new show you better make absolutely certain you’re watching this fall, it’s How To Get Away With Murder. Shonda Rhimes has made magic happen AGAIN with this legal thriller-drama-we’re not even quite sure how to classify it yet.

How To Get Away With Murder Season 1 Episode 2 found Annalise Keating and the team defending a man who was guilty of one murder but not guilty of another, and they convinced him to admit to as much on the witness stand knowing the jury couldn’t touch him for the first crime.

One question we’re starting to ask after last night’s installment: Just how does this woman sleep at night?

Annalise Keating is amazing at her job. She’s a top-notch teacher and deserving of every penny she earns as a defense attorney. But the fact that she’s helping so many criminals go free has to eat away at her.

She can’t stand a liar, and her client last night was definitely one of those. But more than that, she can’t stand living with a liar.

Sam? He’s a liar to the extreme.

He’s also dead, if you’ve been paying attention to the flashbacks, and the students are covering up the crime…for Wes’ neighbor/girlfriend.

Did Annalise’s dead husband kill Lila Stangard or is that what we’re being lead to believe? She obviously thinks he’s involved somehow in her murder and disappearance, but what about him makes her think he’s capable of murder?

She revealed that he’s cheated on her before, and we know she’s cheated on him, but there has to be more to their story and how they got together. Hopefully we’ll find out soon what that is.

What’s fascinating about this setup with the intermittent flashes of various parts of the story is how it’s all going to come together. How does Wes become involved with Rebecca? How do the other students end up involved?

And what’s on the cell phone Wes found in his bathroom?

Okay, so obviously there are lots and lots and LOTS of questions about How To Get Away With Murder. (OMG SO MANY QUESTIONS!)

But that’s at least half the fun of watching a new series and figuring out the various elements that come together to create both the story and the suspense, right? We’re intrigued and we want answers and that’s why we keep watching.

In fact, I might have to go watch How To Get Away With Murder online right now just to see if I missed any clues.
