The season premiere not only introduced us to Hewitt’s new character but also to a multi-episode arc that should take us through the beginning part of the season.
Just after Callahan joined the team on Criminal Minds Season 10 Episode 1, they all loaded up to head to Bakersfield to investigate the case of a torso found in a cabin. It’s the third such torso found in a short time, and only the tip of the iceberg as far as reveals are concerned.
What they find there is that the victim didn’t go down without a fight. Despite having a limb removed, she kept herself together (badum chhhhh) to try and get away.
The team also found out about fetishists who get their jollies by being in the proximity of severed limbs. SHUDDER.
Solving the case prompts Callahan to ask how it is the team sleeps at night. As we all know, Garcia doesn’t. And Hotch isn’t faring well either despite his claims that he leaves work at work.
No one can see the sort of things they see and walk away at the end of the day.
