Rapper Soulja Boy didn’t make it to take-off on his American Airlines flight Friday. The “passenger from hell” got the boot after causing a pre-flight scene the airline definitely considered un-American.

The drill seems simple, right? Sit down, buckle up, head back, relax. That’s not how it went down for the rapper when the flight attendant announced that it was time to take a seat.

In fact, she repeated the request multiple times and Soulja Boy continued to ignore her. Clearing he was unaware that American Airlines has no problem booting passengers.

Last year Alec Baldwin got tossed out when he wouldn’t quit playing Words With Friends on his mobile device.

Security boarded the plane and escorted the rapper off the plane. Using twisted logic, Soulja Boy tweeted a shout out to Virgin Airlines and they promptly showed him some love with a retweet:

He spoke with TMZ about the incident, “It was a bad night and me and the flight staff didn’t see eye to eye. In hindsight, I’m extremely sorry for all inconvenience caused to the passengers and employees of the airline.”
