The newest cast member on the hit reality show “The Real Housewives of NYC” is Sonja Morgan. The socialite is a single mom with a 9-year-old daughter and has already been dubbed “Sexy Pistol” by fellow castmate LuAnn.
Sonja put herself through college, modeled in New York, married and then had a baby. She has reportedly produced a movie, put on an art show and art tour.
BRAVO approached her quite some time ago about joining the show but she said, “I chickened out.” She said that she isn’t into catfights but she does love gossip. She doesn’t have a mean bone in her body and hopes that she can keep her composure around the other ladies.
She joins Jill Zarin, Kelly Killoren Bensimon, Bethenny Frankel, Alex McCord, Ramona Singer and LuAnn de Lesseps for Season 3. Her first appearance was April 15. Also joining this season’s cast will be Jennifer Gilbert.
Her goal is to have a good time and commercialize herself. She admits, “I’m not afraid to say ‘I’m sexy, sassy Sonja.'”
