Romeo Beckham is learning to play a musical instrument. We’ve got photos of the talented son of Victoria Beckham and David Beckham playing a small flute-like instrument called a recorder. Most youngsters are taught to play this particular instrument at an early age but Romeo’s method is somewhat unorthodox. He prefers to play it with his nose.

The recorder was revived in the twentieth century and is introduced in most elementary schools as a first hands-on musical instrument. Young Romeo appears to have his instruction book in hand. He winds up one number in what looks like a ta da moment. Mom isn’t at all interested but count on his grandparents, Jackie Adams and Tony Adams, to acknowledge the young virtuoso. They are Victoria’s parents.

While Romeo entertained, his father and the LA Galaxy team were defeated by Toronto FC 3-2 on Sunday. In attendance with Victoria were her best friend Kate Beckinsale and Kate’s husband Len Wiseman.

Playing the flute through one’s nose is not new. Apparently a Britain’s Got Talent contestant named Claire Hawes performed in this manner on television. Maybe the young lad is a fan.
