Playboy playmate Cassandra Lynn Hensley was found dead in a bathtub at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15, at the Los Angeles home of a friend in the Marina Del Rey area. She was 34.

Police do not suspect foul play and their investigation suggests that the Utah native, who once lived in the Playboy mansion, died of a suspected drug overdose. An autopsy was conducted on Thursday and toxicology results won’t be released for several weeks, according to the L.A. County Coroner’s office.

Hensley started modeling while studying to become an aesthetician and appeared in Playboy as Miss February 2006. She said afterward, “I’m happy to be a Playmate. It’s a dream come true.”

She talked about life after Playboy in a December 2013 interview with Philadelphia’s Metropolis Nights magazine, “I have been a part of many great experiences. Travel shows, magazine covers, and of course giving advice to young impressionable girls who think they need to act a certain way for a chance to be a model – classy not slutty.”

She recently appeared in a photo spread as Angel of the Month and shared a photo on Twitter.

Cassandra Lynn was living in Fairfax, Virginia prior to her death and had been working as an event hostess.

One of her most recent social media tweets came last week, while she was staying with a pal in California, “#life dealing with one #jackass after another!! I’m ready to go back.”
