Canadian born actress Pamela Anderson, who is now a US citizen, is using her citizenship to crack the whip on Capitol Hill. Anderson headed to Washington D.C. yesterday to hand deliver a report to politicians pertaining to animal testing.
The PETA member is very passionate about keeping animals safe and wants the government to mandate “sophisticated, non-animal test methods in place of animal tests.”
Anderson got a little press time and told the reporters:
“Being a citizen excites me and not because I can vote, because I can crack the whip on Capitol Hill to defend animals.”
Pamela will continue to lobby through the weekend and attend the White House Correspondent’s Dinner with PETA vice president Dave Matthews.
