With the final season of ‘Jersey Shore’ set to kick off with a double episode Thursday, Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino did a guest spot on ‘The Ellen Show’ with his male co-stars.
The conversation was all about the major lifestyle change that Sitch undertook during the off season … a stint in rehab to deal with substance abuse issues.
According to the actor, he has maintained his sobriety for nearly eight months.
This morning Us Weekly led on their website with an exclusive story suggesting that an eye witness saw the ‘Jersey Shore’ star “downing so many cocktails, he could barely stand” at West Hollywood’s London Hotel on Sept. 26 after taping a late afternoon segment for the ‘Tonight Show.’
They added in parentheses, (His rep responds, “He has not been drinking.”) Despite the denial by Sorrentino’s camp, the print issue will hit newsstands Friday with the banner headline “The Situation Is No Longer Sober.”
The final season of ‘Jersey Shore’ premieres Oct. 4 at 10 p.m. EST on MTV.
