Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony had a busy weekend. They were in Los Angeles for JLo’s first triathlon, which took place early Sunday morning. The Nautica Malibu Triathlon charity event raised money for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Check out JLo’s triathlon photos here.
As if that weren’t a busy enough weekend, the couple jetted back to New York City immediately following the award ceremony so that Lopez could put the finishing touches on a surprise birthday bash that she had planned for Anthony to properly celebrate his 40th birthday.
The star studded affair took place at The Bowery Hotel. JLo reportedly had palm trees and gambling tables delivered to the second floor of the facility. The Sunday evening event was attended by family and celebrity friends of the couple. Among those helping the couple to celebrate Anthony’s big 40 were Kimore Lee Simons and Djimon Hounsou, Dita Von Teese, Paulina Rubio, Allegra Versace, Donatella Versace, Leah Remini, Brooke Shields and Chris Henchy.
Among Marc’s family members in attendance were Yolanda Muniz and Felipe Muniz, Anthony’s father. JLo’s family included Adimari Lopez, Luis Fonsi, Guadalupe Lopez and Lynda Lopez.
