Dakota Culkin, sister of actor Macaulay Culkin, was struck by a car at 11:00 p.m. Tuesday on the west side of Los Angeles and has died of massive head trauma.
According to LAPD spokesman Richard French, Dakota was walking and stepped off the curb and was then struck by a passing car. The 29 year old was rushed to UCLA Medical Center where she later died from the injuries she sustained.
French said, “The driver stopped, rendered aid and identified himself as required by law. Detectives determined that the driver was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol and that no crime was committed.
