NFL Hall of Famer Lawrence Taylor has officially been indicted for the rape of a 16-year-old prostitute. The ruling was handed down by a New York grand jury.

Taylor was arrested at a Holiday Inn just outside of NYC in May after paying the minor $300 for sex. The football star denies ever having intercourse with the girl.

Along with the rape charge, the former Giants legend was also charged with criminal sexual acts, sexual abuse, endangering the welfare of a child and patronizing a prostitute.

Taylor’s agent, Mark Lepselter, spoke about his clients legal defense: “They made a strategic decision not to put any of our evidence in front of the grand jury. We look forward to presenting our evidence at the appropriate time.”

We look forward to seeing the evidence as well. More details and photos from the fateful night here.
