Former Hills star Lauren ‘Lo’ Bosworth is defending the show’s creator amid reports he is about to be sued by Heidi Montag for sexual harassment.

Online sources say Montag is building a case against Adam DiVello, claiming he groped her prior to a recent Hills cast photoshoot.

MTV took the allegations seriously and launched an investigation into Montag’s claims.

An MTV spokesperson said in a statement, “We have looked into this matter and the allegations made against Adam DiVello are completely false and without merit. Adam not only created ‘The Hills’ and ‘The City,’ launching the careers of several cast members, but has worked diligently to maintain a respectful and appropriate production environment.”

Bosworth, who left the show last year, is also standing by DiVello, saying she is in “utter shock” about the harassment allegations.

Lo took to her Twitter account to express her support for the producer. She wrote, “no one is/has ever been assaulted during filming of our show. hey spiedi, do you know the definition of slander? NOT OKAY.”

Spiedi is the nickname given to Heidi and her husband Spencer Pratt, who was recently fired from The Hills.
