It was only about six weeks ago that we got our first look at the Fifty Shades of Grey trailer.

The film doesn’t even hit theaters until February of 2015, but since it’s pretty much a guaranteed hit thanks to the success of E.L. James’ trilogy of novels, so natrually a sequel is already in the works.

No surprise there, but what is surprising is the early casting news. Sources revealed today that’s looking more and more likely that Kendall Jenner will be cast in Fifty Shades Darker.

Yes, that Kendall Jenner. The one who goes by just “Kendall” for her modeling gigs.

Sure she’s not an actress and she’s still in her teens, which makes her an odd choice for a film that will essentially be a mainstream S&M porn, but director Sam Taylor-Johnson is said to be a fan, and Kendall has reportedly already taken meetings with Universal to seal the deal.

Insiders say that it Kendall won’t play a “major role,” but it will provide a “foot in the door” for her acting career.

Whatever part she plays, Kendall will be challenged with the task of portraying a member of the Kardashian-Jenner clan who has talent and an actual job. We’re not sure anyone will buy that.
