Well, it looks like the very fertile apple doesn’t fall far from the tree!
Jill Duggar married Derick Dillard in June, and the 19 Kids and Counting star announced today that she’s already on her way to birthing a massive brood of her own.
Yes, Jill Duggar is pregnant and if you’re the least bit surprised by that news, you’re clearly not well acquainted with the Duggars or their views on procreation.
Jill and Derick made the announcement via a People magazine cover released today, and as you may have guessed, the young couple is “so excited” about the news.
While the public just learned about the pregnancy today, Jill is apparently already more than a month along.
“About 30 days after Jill and Derick got married they gathered everyone and shared the news,” says Jill’s father, Jim Bob Duggar. “We were in shock too. Everyone in the family was clapping and cheering.”
Congrats, to the happy couple! May this be the first of very, very many!
