In March ‘$ellebrity’ debuted at the South by Southwest Festival. The documentary featured celebrities sounding off about the challenges of living out their lives while surrounded by the paparazzi and tabloid press.
In a just released first official trailer, some of Hollywood’s finest discuss what they must endure because society craves gossip and the media is only too happy to oblige.
Jennifer Aniston is shocked that even the mainstream media has jumped on the pop culture bandwagon, “All of a sudden you are hearing rumors that are not true on the CNN crawl…you sort of go ‘this is CNN!’”
The film is directed by celebrity photographer Kevin Mazur. Also featured in the documentary are Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony, Sarah Jessica Parker, Salma Hayek, Elton John, Sheryl Crow, and Kid Rock.
