Unless you are living in a hole, you have already heard about rapper Kanye West taking the stage during the Taylor Swift acceptance speech at the VMA’s last week.
Not only did he take away from the young country singers big night but in turn embarrassed singer Beyonce when he boldly announced that it was Beyonce that should be standing up on stage accepting the award. Beyonce’s husband Jay-Z is now speaking out on the crazy night.
“I just think that is what he believed. I thought it was rude, I thought it was inappropriate and I told him as much. I think he was wrong. “
Is he holding a grudge against West? No. “The way they’re treating him…he’s on the cover of every paper. He didn’t kill anybody. No one got harmed. (He’s just) a super passionate person.”
The fact is, Jay-Z may have dissed Kanye’s bad behavior, BUT he happens to agree with Kanye about Beyonce’s video being better than Swift’s. He admitted, “I don’t think he was wrong.”
So there you have it! Something tells me you wouldn’t want to be scolded by Jay-Z…we’re just saying.
