Reality star Jack Osbourne, 26, has decided to go public with some shocking news, the fact that he has been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.
Two weeks after his fiancee Lisa Stelly delivered their daughter Pearl Clementine, Jack learned that he has MS.
The son of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne sat down with PEOPLE magazine for an interview. Sharon joined her son as they shared the emotional details of the diagnosis.
Jack said, “I was just angry and frustrated and kept thinking, ‘Why now? I’ve got a family and that’s what’s supposed to be the most important thing.'”
MS affects the nervous system, brain and spinal cord, causing problems with muscle control and strength, vision, balance, feeling and thinking.
There is no way of telling at this point the severity of his case. His doctors indicate that some people go through life with only minor problems while others become severely disabled.
His sister Kelly Osbourne hit Twitter this morning to weigh in, “Please support my brother @mrjacko in not only his bravery but honesty! I love you so much Jack & I’m proud of you!”
The entire interview in PEOPLE magazine hits the stands this Friday.
