Goldie Hawn recently spent some quality time in London with Kate Hudson and Matt Bellamy. According to a slip of the tongue by mama, it appears the actress and her rocker fiance have tied the knot.
The Laugh In celeb told a reporter for the London Evening Standard: “My kids are fantastic with their children, they have an amazing parental ethic and I’m very proud of them for that.”
She continued, “When my daughter Kate married an English rock star it didn’t worry me; all that matters is that the relationship is a good one.”
Hudson and Bellamy announced their engagement in April 2011, three months before she gave birth to their son Bingham Hawn Bellamy. Kate has another son, Ryder, 8, who was born during her union to The Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson.
No word on when the marriage took place … or, whether Hawn was speaking metaphorically and not literally when she used the word “married.”
In a recent interview Goldie talked about her own decision not to marry Kurt Russell, her partner since 1983, “I didn’t want to be married because I did that already, and it didn’t work, so why would I do it again? Kurt felt the same way. We were in love, and at that point in time a piece of paper, to us, didn’t mean anything. I failed twice, he failed once.”
