‘Basketball Wives’ reality celeb Evelyn Lozada attended the West Bloomfield High School prom on Friday night with a Michigan teen.
Evelyn wrote on her website about her little adventure, “My Twitter follower Anthony Nelson, a Senior at West Bloomfield High School, asked me to be his prom date via Twitter and naturally, I said YES! He even requested that I wear red, which I did! LOL.”
Evelyn didn’t get to go to prom when she was in school twenty some years ago because she was pregnant.
She said, “I want to thank Anthony and his mom Shanthia Hayes for opening their home to me! Anthony’s entire family and friends came by his house to see him off to prom and it was amazing, he even bought me a corsage!!! I’ve never had a corsage”
Lozada gushed, “You guys don’t understand how HAPPY I was!! My date was decked out in a custom made tuxedo and black Chanel shoes looking as handsome as ever.”
The reality star rented a Denali for their transportation and paid for a fancy dinner–in addition to shelling out for airfare to and from Michigan.
Anthony has definitely earned some serious bragging rights among his friends in Michigan. We’re fairly certain none of his pals have ever witnessed a prom date looking quite like Evelyn Lozada.
