Actress Ellen Pompeo, 39, and her record producer husband Chris Ivery , 41, welcomed a baby daughter on September 15. The celebrity couple managed to keep the news under-wraps for a full week before making the announcement.
Their first child was born in Los Angeles last Tuesday and has been named Stella Luna Pompeo Ivery. Pompeo and Ivery were married in November 2007.
Pompeo plays the title role of Meredith Grey on the ABC medical drama Grey’s Anatomy. The shows new season will premiere on Thursday, September 24.
