Cher and her mother and sister appeared as guests yesterday on The Ellen DeGeneres Show for a discussion that covered the coming out and weight loss of her son Chaz Bono.

The ‘Turn Back Time’ singer told host Ellen Degeneres that Chaz is “working really hard” to reach his weight loss goal.

When the subject of his coming out was broached, the veteran entertainer admitted that Bono told his grandmother Georgia Holt before he enlightened his mother.

She joked, “I was the last to know. It’s true, go figure. That’s a big deal to come out to the grandmother!”

Ellen posted a teaser photo on Instagram showing her rocking an iconic Bob Mackie black leather and lace see-through costume that was made famous by Cher back in the day. Photoshopped? Absolutely!

DeGeneres captioned the photo: “I had to change my outfit before the show. Cher and I were wearing the same thing.”

Holt, 86, and Cher’s half-sister Georganne LaPiere, 61, chatted it up with Ellen about family matters. Their show host shared this Instagram image featuring the mother-daughter trio in their western garb:
