In the midst of what is shaping up to be quite a nasty divorce, details of Dennis Hopper‘s prenuptial agreement have been revealed.
Hopper, who is suffering from prostate cancer, filed for divorce last month from his wife of nearly 14 years, Victoria Duffy.
Thursday, an emergency restraining order was approved by a judge prohibiting Victoria, 41, from contacting the ailing actor. According to the filing, she must also stay 10 feet away from him.
The papers claim Victoria has engaged in “outrageous conduct” in the past year — citing arguments between the couple over child visitation, issues at the compound where the couple and Hopper’s adult children live, and other matters.
The filing was accompanied by a doctor’s declaration that Hopper’s treatment required him to eliminate unnecessary stress.
The judge in the case unsealed a copy of the couple’s prenuptial agreement which requires Victoria to leave the property within two months of Hopper’s divorce filing.
Highlights of the prenup include:
— Dennis keeps all his property — which includes a house and a condo in Venice, a building in New Mexico on 320 acres, land in Arizona and a number of other properties.
— Dennis keeps his “separate property pension and retirement benefits.”
— Dennis keeps his huge collection of fine arts worth over $2.5 million, including a $350,000 painting by Jean-Michel Basquiat.
— Victoria has to move out of his house within 30 days of either party filing for divorce … but it’s bumped up to 60 days if they have a child together, which they do.

Victoria claims that the divorce proceedings are an attempt to keep her from receiving her inheritance, and says Hopper has smoked marijuana in front of their 6-year-old daughter, threatened her and that his illness has left him unable to make sound decisions.
Hopper denied those claims in Thursday’s filings. He acknowledged smoking medicinal marijuana, but not near his daughter. He denied threatening Victoria Hopper and said that while he had hoped to avoid a divorce, he recently came to the conclusion he wanted the marriage ended.
