After watching the trailer for “The Losers,” I instantly wanted to see it and finally I’ve found a movie that lives up to it’s preview! It looked action packed and I haven’t seen a really good action movie in a long time. I was not disappointed because action was exactly what I got.
The movie takes place in the Bolivian jungle. After being betrayed and left for dead, members of a CIA black ops team root out those who targeted them for assassination – a tale of double cross and revenge.
If you want explosions, big guns, sexual tension and amazing fight scenes then you want to see “The Losers”. The movie completely delivers on all counts. I hate when I leave a movie confused by an ending or wanting more…neither happened with this film. There were exactly enough twists and turns to keep me interested, but not mind-boggled.
Zoe Saldana really holds her own as the only leading actress in the film. Somehow she balances being extremely beautiful and aggressive very well. It’s always cool to see a woman really kick ass in an action flick. Her co-stars include Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Chris Evans, Idris Elba and Columbus Short.
There was also the unexpected element of humor. The action packed plot had great comedic banter seamlessly woven throughout and it worked well.
