Brandon Marshall aka “The Beast”, is a wide receiver for the Denver Broncos, a fourth round pick in the 2006 NFL Draft. It was announced on Friday, August 28 that the athlete has been suspended for the rest of the preseason, and possibly beyond.

Marshall had hip surgery on March 31, 2009, to repair an aggravated hip that bothered him during the 2008 season. He returned in time for training camp in late July; however, he didn’t fully commit to practice.

Yesterday he put on quite a show during practice – see video below. His display of complete indifference led the Broncos to suspend him for the last two games of the preseason for what they describe as insubordination and conduct detrimental to the team.

He will be eligible for reactivation for Week 1 of the regular season if he exhibits good behavior for the rest of the preseason.
