FOX and Ryan Seacrest revealed today the names of the 2011 panel of American Idol judges during a highly orchestrated press conference that was streamed live at americanidol.com.
The AI judges are veteran Randy Jackson, actress and singer Jennifer Lopez and Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler. They appeared on stage during the FOX media event.
The network is banking on the two new judges to help rejuvenate the reality series that remains the biggest show on television, but lost 9 percent of its viewers last year to Dancing with the Stars.
