Country singer Miranda Lambert has opened her second Pink Pistol store in her hometown of Lindale, Texas.
Miranda’s mother Bev Lambert was over the moon about the opening, “I’m freaking out! I don’t know that Lindale has seen this kind of traffic ever.”
Lambert’s first store was opened in Tishomingo, Oklahoma a year ago. It happens to be where she and her country crooning husband Blake Shelton live.
She started the venture as a way to keep herself busy when not on tour. The shops specialize in clothing, accessories, trendy designer junk, shabby chic antiques — all handpicked by Miranda. She also has a considerable stake in the Red 55 Winery in Tishomingo.
The award-winning hometown celebrity hopes that the Lindale shop will bring tourists flocking to check out her wares.
Miranda hit social media with a photo captured during the opening ceremony and tweeted:
It looks like a great time was had by all. See more event pics on Miranda’s Facebook page.
The reigning 2012 CMA Female Vocalist of the Year is up for the same award this year as well as Single of the Year and Music Video of the Year for ‘Mama’s Broken Heart.’
