Jennifer Lawrence filmed a cameo appearance in ‘Dumb and Dumber To,’ as a younger version of the character Kathleen Turner portrays.
The Oscar-winner is a fan of cult comedy and recently told Jimmy Fallon during a guest appearance, “I know every word to ‘Dumb and Dumber,’ ‘Step Brothers’ and ‘Anchorman.’
Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels are back as dimwits Lloyd and Harry. They set out on another adventure after receiving a letter from their old flame (Turner) saying that one of them is the father of her child, who now needs a kidney transplant.
Lawrence has been filming the last two installments of ‘The Hunger Games’ series back to back. Because her film set is in close proximity to the ‘Dumb and Dumber To’ project in Atlanta, she has dropped by on more than one occasion — and jumped at the chance do film a cameo.
The original ‘Dumb and Dumber’ was released in 1994. The sequel will hit theaters in 2014.
