The very pregnant Jessica Simpson poked a little fun at herself yesterday with a Twitter photo showing her rocking a hot air balloon sweater with the caption “Metaphor.”
The 32-year-old ‘Fashion Star’ mentor will give birth to her second child in July. She and fiance Eric Johnson have a 13-month-old daughter Maxwell and hope to finally wed in late 2013.
Simpson happens to be one of those women who develop a mega baby bump. Her last pregnancy was considered by many to be the longest pregnancy in the history of motherhood because she got big very early, leading many to assume that she was near-term when she just starting her second trimester.
In another Twitter image, she and her best friend CaCee Cobb compare bumps. Her pal is married to Donald Faison and is expecting her first child in August.
The pic was captured on Sunday at CaCee’s baby shower and we must say the ladies were definitely rocking a pregnancy glow.
Cobb told Us Weekly, “Jessica’s a great mom. It’s kind of crazy to see her because she’s further along than I am and she’s chasing around Maxwell, who just turned 1 and is about to walk any day now.”
CaCee added, “She’s got me beat. Just watching her, I’m in awe because she makes it look easy — but it’s not, I can tell!”
