The popular CBS sitcom ‘Two and a Half Men’ will switch things up during season 11 with the addition of a new character. The show plans to add an actress who will portray the daughter of deceased character Charlie Harper.

A change in the dynamic of the show was inevitable with the departure of Angus T. Jones, who played Dr. Alan Harper’s son Jake for ten seasons.

The teen left the sitcom in order to concentrate on a career in music. He arrived at this decision after encouraging ‘Men’ viewers, via a YouTube video rant, to quit watching the “filth.”

Deadspin claims the series will add a female in her late teens or early 20’s to replace Angus. The new character will land on Walden’s door step and before long she will be invited to join the ranks of his other permanent boarder, her newly-discovered Uncle Alan.

Ashton Kutcher got top billing and a hefty salary when he stepped in to replace Charlie Sheen, but Jon Cryer is the one who was awarded the 2012 Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series.

Will Jake’s departure make you less likely to watch the show? Is a name change in order?
