New York Governor Andrew Cuomo fired off a letter citing copyright infringement after seeing a photo of Khloe Kardashian wearing a Rich Soil t-shirt that featured a likeness of a Department of Agriculture logo.
Khloe was rocking a white shirt with “Rich Soil New York” on the front last week when she stopped by to visit her pregnant sister Kim Kardashian.
It didn’t take long for someone in the Cuomo administration to see the strong resemblance to the state’s New York farm program logo designs that includes the Statue of Liberty above crop rows. It is encircled by the words “Pride of New York.”
A “pro forma” letter was fired off to Rich Soil Clothing, founded by Khloe’s NBA star husband Lamar Odom and designer Jonathan Garcia.
According to the Rich Soil website, their line of clothing promotes creative design and spiritually iconic imagery.
