Jennifer Lopez and her boyfriend Casper Smart made a beeline for their vehicle on Sunday night in Fort Lauderdale after gunshots interrupted the making of her new music video with Pitbull.
The singer was on location at South Point Park most of the day to film beach scenes for a Kohl’s television commercial and music video featuring her single ‘Live It Up.’
During an interview with ‘Entertainment Tonight’ correspondent Rob Marciano, the sound of gunfire sent everyone scrambling for cover.
He later tweeted, “BREAKING: Gunshots fired on Fort Lauderdale Beach DURING my JLo interview. No kidding. Security scrambled her away.”
Police were called to the parking lot area to investigate. After speaking to an officer, Marciano hit Twitter with this follow-up: “Police confirming: ‘shots fired. no one hit.’ Whew.”
