Kate Hudson and Goldie Hawn have never worked together on the big screen but they recently collaborated on a Mother’s Day commercial and we’ve got the behind the scenes video.
The mother-daughter duo teamed up to talk about their special bond in a “feel good” ad sponsored by Almay.
Goldie, the mother of two sons and one daughter, looks phenomenal at 67. She gained fame more than four decades ago on the hit show ‘Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In’ circa 1968-1973.
She founded The Hawn Foundation and visits schools to teach kindergarten through seventh-graders the Buddhist techniques of mindful awareness and positive thinking to promote optimism and positive emotions, while decreasing aggression. She recently told Oprah that testing children before and after the training demonstrates a dramatic improvement among those participating.
Her only girl child, Kate Hudson, is now 34 and has two sons of her own. Besides her role as the face of Almay, her latest film, ‘The Reluctant Fundamentalist,’ hits UK theaters on May 10, 2013. The political thriller debuted last August at the 69th Venice International Film Festival.
In our opinion, the best line of the Mother’s Day tribute was when Goldie said, “I think the fact that I got a girl was one of the greatest gifts a mother can be given. I wish a beautiful daughter on everyone.”
